Monsters of the Hill

Long ago, in a thunderstorm that lit up the Tennessee sky, a mad scientist created what he hoped would be a marvel of modern science—a creature brought back to life from stolen parts. This creation, known as Frankenstein, found himself abandoned by his maker and alone in the wilderness, roaming the hills and valleys of Appalachia. Drawn by the flickering lights of Possum Holler Hill, he stumbled upon the haunted the Hill, where he was welcomed not with fear, but with curiosity and understanding by the diverse creatures that called the Hill home.

Once upon a time in the whispers of Possum Holler, a jovial spirit named Steve emerged from the shadows of an ancient oak tree, embraced by the laughter of children echoing through the hills. Local legend says he was a travelling entertainer from a nearby village, who, wanting to bring joy and happiness to the weary Appalachian folk, met an untimely fate during a Halloween festival gone awry, forever binding him to the Hollow as its playful guardian. Since then, Sinister Steve has become a cherished fixture of the Halloween season, mastering the art of jump scares and mischievous surprises.

In the heart of Possum Holler, where the mist hangs thick and old tales are whispered by the wind, the Headless Horseman roams. Legend has it that he was once a noble horseman, a guardian of the night, whose head was claimed by a vengeful spirit during a perilous Halloween ride. Now, forever cursed to ride the borders of the Hollow, he finds solace in the echo of galloping hooves and the rustle of fallen leaves that accompany him.
