Signature scene — guest favorite
Clowns (feat. Steve the Clown)
The guest favorite. Steve the Clown is one of the three original Home Depot props from year one — Dead Water Fisherman and Marsh Monster being the other two. Guests in the 2025 guestbook singled the clowns out as the signature draw.
Graveyard
Tombstones, low fog, and enough shadow to keep you looking twice. A traditional Halloween tableau along the trail.
Plague Doctor & His Wife
Two animatronics — the classic Plague Doctor plus a separate female Plague Doctor from Lowe's. Long beaks, dark robes, standing watch together.
Gremlin
A little creature with big attitude, tucked in where you don't quite expect it.
Headless Horseman
The classic. Cloak, mount, and no head where a head should be.
Alien
Not everything on the Hill is from around here.
Wizard
A robed figure with a staff and a knowing look.
Dragons
Scaled, watchful, and larger than you'd expect.
Scarecrow
The kind that might move when you look away.
Frankenstein
The monster himself, bolts and all.
Leprechaun
Small, mischievous, and probably up to something.
Photo op
Pumpkin Arch
A light-up archway of pumpkins — a photo op you'll want to walk under twice. Bought from Home Depot and lightly modified for photos.
Dinner Table
A meal set for guests who aren't quite alive anymore. Who invited whom is unclear.
Pop-up Redneck
Local color with a punchline. Watch your step.
Devil
Horns, tail, the works. Standing right where the trail turns.
Chucky
The doll. Yes, that doll. He's here.
Mascot cameo + 10ft light-up Pentagram
Witches (feat. the Possum-over-Cauldron + 10ft Pentagram)
The witch area — including a witch holding a possum over a cauldron (our mascot woven into a scene) and a 10-foot light-up Pentagram built to double as a Christmas Star: light the inner star, leave the outer circle dark, and you have a star for the road.
